Lake Nakuru Flamingos- Kenya

5 DAYS MASAI MARA/NAKURU WALKING SAFARI

Day 1 Nairobi/Masai Mara
Drive through rich Kikuyu farmland to the edge of Rift Valley. Descend the escarpment and drive via Narok to Masai Mara Game Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. On arrival in the Mara proceed for an afternoon game drive.
Masai Mara is an extension of Serengeti Eco system. It is famous for its Black manned Lion and the yearly migration of wildebeest and Zebra. Elephants Buffalo, Rhino, gazelle, Leopard, Giraffe are also found there.
Dinner and overnight at Mara Springs Safari Camp

Day 2 Masai Mara
An early morning game drive gives us the opportunity to catch up with the predators before they retire in the thickets for the day. Back to the camp for breakfast. After breakfast Proceed for a 2-3 hour walking safari along small river course and through the savannah for wildlife viewing with the Maasai as guides and interpreters of their land. You can take a refreshing dip in a swimming hole and walk amongst giraffe, impala, zebra and wildebeest. Lunch at the camp. Free afternoon.
Enjoy an evening game drive.
Dinner and overnight Mara Springs Safari Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara
After an early breakfast proceed for a morning hike to the summit of the Naunare hills guided by a local Maasai warrior. Descend and continue for a game drive. Return to the camp for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Enjoy an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Springs Safari Camp.

Day 4: Masai Mara/Lake Nakuru National Park
Early breakfast, leave camp and proceed to Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. 1600hrs afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for the world's greatest spectre of more than one million flamingos, also known for more than 450 species of birds. It's also rich in wildlife.
Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru/ Nairobi
After breakfast drive back to Nairobi stopping at the Great Rift Valley View Point. Arrive early afternoon.
